Guests were introduced -- of which there were many.  Then the new Rotary Club of Patong Beach video was launched -- everyone was happy but Sam, who thought he should look better (he did a great job!.)

Dr Johan gave a project update.  The Swimming project is still moving forward.  The roof over the kids' playground at the Kalim school is moving forward.  The water filtration system at the Kalim school is now working properly again.  Ongoing is the support of the one-legged man and a district grand with the Songkla club.  Also in a joint project with the Rotary Club of Andaman, wheelchairs are being purchased to provide support to those that can't afford them.

PP Sam gave a membership update.  A special meeting for prospective members is being planned.

Admin/PR Chair Dieter Dieter Dratwa presented how to become a leader. A leader encourages a person to be better than they think they can be. After the in-depth presentation the audience engaged in a Q&A session around leading teams, what to do in a crisis and how coaching can help to become an inspiring leader. His speech went very well and the details are attached.

Afterwards the happy hundreds were collected and a toast was made.

Regards, Karen
