P. Karen called the meeting to order at 12.45 hrs after another delicious buffet lunch at the Millenium Resort
 
A quorum of more than 33 % was reached and all votes were put to count,
PP Sam & PP David were acting scrutineers.
 
Results :
 
Confirmed PP Arnaud CMC Verstraete as PE for the remaining year and President for 2019/2010

Confirmed IPP Andy Becker as VP for the Rotary year 2019/20.
 
Confirmed Rtn Roy Devlin as VP for the remaining Rotary year.
 
Change of Bylaws, Article 5, Section 2 
 
  1. Change the weekly meeting from lunch to a dinner meeting
  2. Meeting time
  3. Day of the week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday
The members voted in favour of changing the meeting to a dinner meeting on a
Tuesday evening, starting at 19:00. starting 26th Feb 2019.
This change to remain until further notice.
 
A point of note: Our bylaws do not allow proxy votes, so members have to be present to affect any changes.
 
Information about Club Business
 
President Karen informed about ongoing club business and the treasurer informed about the finances. Financial details attached. (not attached
 
District Conference in Nakhon Pathom March 29th-31st
PP Walter informed about the District conference, which cost about 6,200 Baht per member without transportation. The club has a budget of 20,000 and shall be distributed among the participants. 
 
The District Conference is a great time to get fresh ideas, regenerate goodwill and foster friendships, find out about the Rotary core and meaning.
Every member is urged to attend. Meetings will be held in both Thai and English. Dates March 29th-31st
 
PP. Sam is unanimously appointed as Elector Representative of RCoPB for the District Conference.
 
Dr. Johan asked members to join Ban Ya celebrations on the 28th of Feb of the graduation of the swimming students. Volunteers include Dr. Larry, Jonathan and Stewart.
 
PP David: Finance all in order. Only 10 members are EREY, remaining members should donate by the end of Feb 2019 to make a difference............pls do so !!
 
PP Sam Foundation Chair announced some good news......all documents now complete and the process now has legs and will move ahead:
RCoPB will soon become a foundation.
 
Public Image Chair Roy: We need more RCoPB branding at the water dispensation stations and also the Ban Ya website. More discussions will continue with the board regarding club branding.
 
 
District Training Seminar            10th – 12th May in Trang                                     Due to the time, we skipped this and shall inform at a later stage.
 
 
Any other business
 
Rtn Larry brought up the dress-code of our club again, and asked the board to review the current dress-code, allowing shorts
 
 
PP Walter suggested all members rotate and volunteer as SAA, and the President of the club will call upon attending members to do so on the date of the meeting. 
Happy Hundreds were donated by all and the meeting closed at 1410 hrs.
