RCoPB proudly participated in a wonderful ceremony at Prince of Songkla University on Thursday, 25 May held to present scholarships to 302 underprivileged children.Rotarians Larry Amsden Alastair; honorary Rotarian Jimmy and prospective Rotarian Debra attended on behalf of the club and presented scholarship envelopes to the children, along with representatives of other organisations who support Child Watch, the Phuket based organisation that aids abused and helpless children.
The Governor of Phuket Khun Norraphat Plodthong was greeted by Child Watch’s President Dr Suplaluck Kanchajanamethakul. Fun and games were played by the children and Phuket Sunshine Village young ladies performed a gracious Thai dance. RCoPB representatives also distributed helmets from its joint Rotary child helmet safety campaign.
