Sep 11, 2025 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Our upcoming Lenses for Learning Eyeglass Distribution Event is all about helping children see the world more clearly—and giving them big reasons to smile. We're distributing 97 pair of glasses this time.
Here’s how it works: An optometrist has already visited the school to check the vision of students identified by their teachers as needing glasses but unable to afford them. The children then chose their own frames, and the lenses have been made to fit.
Now, it’s time for the best part—handing out the brand-new glasses! It’s simple, inspiring, and always a lot of fun when we do it together.
At the event, we’ll also teach the kids a little about Rotary and how to care for their glasses. Sometimes the school even gives us a tour of their facilities, which makes it an even richer experience.
Here are the Event Details
Muang Phuket Municipal School 11 September 2025 10AM-11AM Google Map https://maps.app.goo.gl/Q9qLLSHc3WhLqwc57
Come ready to share some joy, fit glasses on bright young faces, and maybe capture a few great photos of those priceless first smiles.
Spots are limited, so if you try to RSVP and are turned away, it simply means we’ve already filled up.
We can’t wait to see you there—and to witness when the world comes into focus for these children!
Cheers,
Joe Gerardi LFL Program Manager |
