 Recently  we completed GG 1638670  on Water and Sanitation and submitted to Rotary International. The water systems now provide fresh clean water to 6 school communities using 9 water filter machines. This also included upgrading toilets and a “Wash your Hands” Project. The contributions came from the Kushiro and Nakashibetsu Clubs, District 2500 and our own District 3330 ($3, 0000) and cash from our club ($3,000 US). This was matched by a World Fund match of $US 15,744. A Total 1,198,540 Baht 
  The  Global Grant GG 1637384  BanYa Literacy Project has now completed one year with one year to go. The BanYa Centre now housed in a new building has 172 Myanmar students, who live in construction camps and are taught Burmese English and Thai. This has been supported by the Rotary Clubs of Landsberg/Lech,Ammersee,Weilheim-Oberbayern,Bargteheide,Ahrensburg-schloss,Grosshansdorf,Illnau-Effrettikon,Chereuseet Vallee ( France) and Districts 1841,1890,1660,2000 and cash from Patong Beach of $US 2,000 and District 3330 $US 1,000. This was matched by the World Fund $US 23,000.   Total  1,960,000 Baht.
  Extra support has been provided by the Tokushima South Club, Hokkaido Clubs, Deep River Connecticut,Vienna-Schonbrunn and 2 Indian RC  and  Newport Beach Sunrise (Ayuda Dental Mission). Ayuda/Newport Brach Sunrise  returning next April and last time that was a huge effort with 50 dentists and the whole trip cost over $1m and they looked after 400 patients and made a donation to BanYa
            We acknowledged the many donors after the Tsunami and their contributions make possible the payment this year of 118 scholarships of  1,026,898 Baht.
 This year The RCoPB will fund the awarding of a postgraduate master’s degree scholarship in environmental management to honour the memory of the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej.  The funding will be for Baht 125000 a year for two years. This scholarship has been supported by the Shouson Hill RC of Hong Kong ( 50,000 Baht for resources)
Our thanks must go to Pascal and his Belgian Club  Zottegem for their ongoing support.  Our thanks also to PP Arnaud whose generousity has made it possible to draw on our District Grants
         So this year alone we say a huge thanks to 17 overseas clubs, 5 overseas districts and Rotary International for their contributions of 3.5 M Baht for our current projects (excl scholarships).
